Its an innovative programme launched with the purpose of selling quality used cars online at very competitive prices. Rent2buycarz provides customers with the opportunity to test drive the vehicle for 3 months by renting it at a low special rate. If at the end of your initial rental period you decide you want to BUY IT, we'll offer you a discount off the sale price equivalent to how much rental you've paid.If you decide not to buy it, you can either return the car or continue under a new 3 month flexi-rental agreement. Please note Rent2Buycarz is not a “Rent to Own” programme. We have focused on making the used car buying experience simpler. We don’t charge any admin fees or interest and have eliminated the middleman so you are protected from the haggle process. By reducing these costs, Rent2Buycarz has been able to transfer savings to the customer and offer high-quality, well-equipped used cars at great prices.
Simply apply online and we'll ask a few details about yourself.. Once we've assessed your application, we'll send you an approval email and text to confirm you've been accepted. You then simply click on the link, make your first payment and sign your agreement.
You need to upload a photo of the front and back of your license, a copy of a utility or council tax bill dated in the last three months and your last two bank statements. The whole process shouldn’t take you more than 5 minutes. (this way you don’t have to send us any documents and it’s the fast track way to get approved). If you don’t want to complete the process online you can email the following documents to [email protected]
  • Photo of driving license
  • Last months bank statement
  • A copy of your payslip or utility bill
All cars have had a recent service and come with with between 6 to 12 months MOT. Road tax is also included.
No. As we’re not providing you with any finance we’re only concerned that you can afford the advance rental payments.
Once you've recieved accceptance of your application, simply log back into your account and make your first payment. This will prevent anyone else applying for the car for upto 72 hours.
Yes. We offer a Rent2Return scheme which allows you to change your car every 3 months if you want to, we just charge a small administration fee from just £150.00 and you start a new agreement. Please note that premium vehicles are excluded from this and the change fee will be higher.
No, we don’t believe in tying customers into long term contracts, that’s why we will only ever ask for one months-notice to end your agreement without penalty.
We take a non-refundable reservation fee when you order your vehicle. This is usually between two to five hundred pounds. We take no other forms of deposit.
All prices include car tax for the full duration of the term.
Yes. The rental term is only 3 months. Therefore only one months notice is required to terminate your hire agreement.
All vehicles need to be insured on a fully comprehensive basis. We need to see your cover note before the vehicle is handed over to you. Please inform your insurer that you lease the car.
You will be responsible for all service, MOT and repairs once the agreement commences. If you prefer we can offer you a maintenance plan for just £20.00 per week for complete peace of mind.
We can accept payment by direct debit payment only.

We aim to get all of our new customers on the road within 3 working days if you complete everything on time.
All vehicles taken out on our Rent2return scheme are taken out on a three month hire agreement. At the end of your initial agreement we'll send you an SMS allowing you to either change cars or conveniently E-Sign a new three month hire agreement. We charge a fee of £150 if you decide to change to a different car.
Please note that we don’t provide finance or credit and as such we can help blacklisted people, people with low credit scores, self-employed and people in receipt of benefits. If whilst your on our rent2buy scheme you want to purchase the vehicle, theres nothing preventing you from applying for a loan from your bank or other finance house to fund the purchase of your vehicle.

  • MOT and any associated costs for repairs needed for your car to pass its MOT..
  • Scheduled maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Repairs not incurred as a result of an accident.
  • Replacement tyres including punctures.
  • Replacement of wear and tear items including; wipers, bulbs, batteries, exhausts, and brakes.
Delivery costs a minimum of £75 or £1.75 per mile, whichever is greater.
Our vehicles are in good condition, most of our vehicles are between 6 to 10 years old however some vehicles are older than this. You should expect the vehicle to have age related wear and tear on the paint and body work.
If you’ve taken out a self maintained agreement, you'll receive a 30 day guarantee covering major mechanical and electrical repairs. After 30 days, you'll be responsible for all repairs, servicing and MOT work.

If you’ve taken out a maintained agreement, you'll be covered for major mechanical & electrical repairs, servicing and MOT work throughout the entire duration of your agreement, giving you complete peace of mind. (Subject to Terms).
