HOW IT WORKS
Here at Rent2buycarz all of our stock vehicles are
available to buy or rent on our flexi-rental agreement.
Choosing your car
For a quick
and easy solution, choose a car from our broad range of cars in stock. If
the car you're looking for isn’t available, we can provide you with a
lead-in car in the meantime until you find a car that you like. New stock
arrives every week.
Make an application with no credit check
To get things
moving, please apply online next to the vehicle you like. You’ll need to
upload a photo of your driving licence, proof of address and either a copy
of your most recent pay slip or bank statement. From the information you
provide, we’ll assess your eligibility for the car you’re interested in
and provide an answer within 24 hours. If eligible, we’ll send you a link
to make payment, sign your agreement and set up your Direct Debit.
Getting your car insured
You’ll need to
arrange insurance for your new car. This must be fully comprehensive, in
your name, and must be in place ready for when you collect your car from
us.
Delivery & collection
When you have your
car from us, you will need to collect it from our Hull office or if you
prefer we can arrange to deliver** your vehicle to your home address.
After that, we can arrange for subsequent cars to be delivered and
collected anywhere in mainland UK.
Maintaining your agreement
For complete
flexibility, our agreements are 3 months long. Since most of our customers
want to keep their cars for much longer, we simply send you an email near
to the end of your first rental period which allows you to quickly and
easily e-Sign a new agreement.
Unlimited mileage
For complete peace
of mind, all of our vehicles come with unlimited mileage. Unlike other
leasing and rental companies, we don't penalise you for driving your car.
Changing your car
Our unique offering
provides flexibility and choice. If you decide to change your car, simply
login to
your
account, upload photo’s of your existing vehicle and select the
vehicle you’d like to change too. There will be a Vehicle Change Fee to
pay usually between £100 to £200 depending on the make and model of
vehicle you choose to swap to. You then simple pay and e-Sign a new 3
month agreement for your next car. The whole process is completed online
and takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Dealing with damage
We hope you’ll do
your best to look after your car but we understand that accidents can
happen. We operate a very fair ‘wear and tear’ policy and since we have
access to very competitive vehicle repair centres, we offer very
competitive damage repair rates. Alternatively, you can use your own
repair centre.
Fines & charges
Speeding, parking,
congestion and traffic offence charges can be very frustrating.
Unfortunately, if you pick any fines up you will need to settle this with
the relevant authority. As soon as we’re notified, we’ll send you details
of the charge so that you can deal with it directly.
Vehicle maintenance & tyres
The beauty of
flexi-rental over car ownership is that for just an extra £20.00 per week
you don’t need to worry about the maintenance. For your peace of mind,
when you choose a car with our maintenance plan, all of our cars are fully
maintained at our cost and we cover fair wear and tear on tyre
replacement. Alternatively, you can take the vehicle on a self maintained
agreement and pay for maintenance and repairs using your own
garages.
*If you decide to buy the car the expiry of your
first 3 month rental period, this will be subject to a separate sale
agreement.
**Delivery is charged a minimum of £75.00 or £1.75 per mile,
whichever is greater.
